  • Bruce E. Curfman

    SR. FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR

Bruce Curfman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with firearms training to US Firearms Training. He enjoys the moment when students grasp the skills and knowledge to handle their firearms safely and accurately. Bruce has instructed firearm safety, rifle marksmanship, and American heritage through the Appleseed Project since 2012 and has shared that moment with hundreds of students.

Bruce has extended his certifications to include the NRA Pistol and Rifle.

Bruce lives with his wife in western Pennsylvania.

Since childhood, brothers Mac and Bruce have been avid marksmen, hunters, and outdoorsmen. Their dad, Ned Curfman, introduced them to hunting at age twelve. Together, they had many hunting trips to Pithole, Victory Heights, and other places around Western Pennsylvania, not to mention their own backyard of 60 acres. Mac’s and Bruce’s love for the outdoors also grew as they participated in hiking, canoeing, and camping trips with the Boy Scouts of America. As adults, Mac and Bruce continue to enjoy the outdoors and have refined their skills with decades of practice.

Mac is now passing the love of the outdoors to his son, Andrew. This is one of our favorite pictures from a hunting trip in South Carolina in 2019.
